Clouds Unseen is humorous black and white mod of a high artistic level. It features 11 levels, one of them is a colored secret level. There are no references left to Commander Keen in this mod. You play as "Character", the protagonist of this game, searching for 4 souvenirs that will remind him of his crazy journey. But that's not easy: A lot of enemies and hazards are getting in his way...
The level design is rather difficult and features some very advanced jumps, so the author Stupid Bunny decided to release an easy version as well (you can find both the easy and the normal version in the .zip file).

Technical Information
* Graphics: All graphics from the original game were redrawn.
* Levels: 11 levels, one of them is a coloured secret level.

Story
Basically, the story is about "Character" who has to find 4 souvenirs on his journey.
Although there's no "real" storyline in this mod, the story entry in the menu is worth reading. It's very funny and well written and gives you a good laugh before you start the game.

Items
The point items are replaced by card game motifs, such as Spades, Hearts and so on. The most valuable item is a star.
The Pogo stick was replaced by a sack, hidden in the secret level.
The 4 treasure items are not otherwise specified.

Verdant version
Soon after the first version of the mod was released, a "verdant version" was uploaded by Stupid Bunny as well. Its only difference is that the background was changed from white to green to give it a Gameboy-like look. You can download this version here. The verdant version is only available in Hard difficulty.

Draik: /* Map image */

It says in the description for The Perilous Pit that it is not possible to get the 2 lifewater flasks without dying. This is inaccurate.

As most Keen players know, when you pogo towards a ledge and put away your pogostick as you reach it, Keen will grab onto the ledge and pull himself up. The same applies here. There is secret ledge at the top left corner of the secret area. The f10+Y cheat will reveal this. When you use the impossible pogo trick to jump up to the secret area to get the 2 lifewater flasks, put away your pogostick and Keen will grab that secret ledge and climb up through the ceiling and onto the ground above instead of falling down onto the Mad Mushroom and dying.

I intend to delete the sentence that says collecting the 2 lifewater flasks is not possible without dying. -- previously unsigned comment by Syllypryde, 11:09, 30 November 2008.
: Very good correction, thanks! --Sega381 17:41, 1 December 2008 (GMT)

You are welcome. I was not sure how many Keen fans knew of this trick, but I felt it should be corrected. I did attempt to record a demo and upload it here to show how it was possible not to die, but for some strange reason, two-button firing was automatically activated when I was recording. Most Keen fans are aware that two-button firing makes the impossible pogo trick (IPT) very difficult. Since timing is very crucial to be able to pogo over the Mad Mushroom I made literally dozens of attempts to do the IPT, but I could not make it work, so I abandoned recording the demo.
Asparagustos are sharp, pointed and fast vegetables found in Tuberia in Keen Dreams; they run back and forth at high speed hoping to spear someone with their tips. They are prime candidates for the infamous "Drop Enemy" bug. Also, their high speed and small profile make them hard to hit with Flower Power bombs!
Battle of the Brains will be the third and final episode of the unofficial The Universe Is Toast trilogy. Work on it began shortly after the release of Dead in the Desert. As of November 2009, enemies and about 25% of the world map are done. No release date has been set.

The story begins immediately where Dead in the Desert left off. After rendezvousing with his friends, who have piloted Commander Keen's Bean-with-Bacon Megarocket, Commander Keen learns of their very important discovery.

In a seemingly empty quadrant of space lies a mysterious space station, a hub between worlds. Keen's friends have discovered that this hub is how Mortimer McMire travels around the universe so quickly and believe it will lead them straight to Mortimer himself!

Unfortunately for Commander Keen, it isn't that simple. He must accomplish several tasks before he can even enter the portal leading to Mortimer. This requires that he travel to three different planets as well as a space station, all located in far flung areas of the universe. Luckily, he can use Mort's portal hub against him...

Two enemies have been revealed in a teaser poster:

Robo Garg: The Robot Garg is a genetically enhanced Martian with a steady stream of Vitalin pumped into its veins, making it impossible to stun for more than a short period of time.

Cybloog: The Cybloog are the biomechanical shocktroopers in Mortimer's Army. They carry a Meep on their back attached to special blasters which fire deadly sound waves.
Is the Base actually owned by Koraths? I always figured it was owned by Shikadi, since it has similar structures to the ones in the Omegamatic. --Genius314 02:34, 24 June 2007 (GMT)

:The base is populated mainly by Koraths, and in the alternative ending, the Shikadi are detained by the Korath Police of the Korath Base for double parking. That implies that the Shikadi were only using the base for parking, and that the Korath are the "owners" or actual inhabitants. The construction similarities could go the other way: the Shikadi, parking on Korath, may have been inspired by their structures when building the Omegamatic with Vitacorp. Or, maybe those structures are just common in that sector of the galaxy. Sega381 13:03, 25 June 2007 (GMT)

::I guess. I just always figured that the Koraths were only there because they were just exploring it or something. Also, theres the fact that there are two teleporters leading from the base to the Omegamatic, and a fuse controlling their getaway ship. I don't really care what the article says, though. Its not like it matters that much. --Genius314 13:59, 25 June 2007 (GMT)

:::Of course it matters, it's Commander Keen! :) Nah, it doesn't matter much, but that's the point of this wiki... to write and comment on Keen things. The answer I gave you is just my opinion on the things; there is not enough evidence to support either claim. Probably id didn't give too much thought to who owned the base, hence the inconsistencies. I could answer your points saying that the fuse was controlling his parking space, or part of the underside of the ship (which is not actually seen)... the teleporters could have been installed next to their parking space by the Shikadi, or may be provided by the Korath Base Parking Center for ease of access to parking space :). Anyway, I guess just more people think it's owned by Koraths, that's why the article says so. It could be modified to say that it's not clear. But you do have a valid point: there is not much consistency either way. - Sega381 00:38, 27 June 2007 (GMT)

For me it was built by the Shikadi, and it interferes with Koraths' daily activities, and that would explain why they walk around in it and often look at you with a face displaying confusion. --Shadow Master 15:46, 27 June 2007 (GMT)
