PlanetCK is a website, run by Genius314, running from 2005 to 2007.

History
In 2005, Xtraverse set up a subdomain on Spatang to host Genius314's website, PlanetCK. Grafix helped with the CSS coding, and the website was quickly set up.
Over the next few months, Genius314 had planned to fill in the pages with information, ranging from basic game info to guides on how to mod. However, he never got around to doing so, and eventually just stopped updating the site.

Forum
The site also featured a forum, powered by phpBB. It has become a dead place, and most of the posts are from spambots.

Closing Down
Genius314 is planning on removing the site entirely. A main reason for this, besides lack of interest, is the fact that there is now a KeenWiki. His original plan for PlanetCK was to be an all-in-one resource for Keen information. The site will most likely be removed before 2008.
<center></center>

The Public Commander Keen Forum (PCKF) is currently the most active Keen community, thus it is often referred to as the Community. It is currently hosted by Andrew Durdin in the KeenModding.org domain, and its main URL domain, www.pckf.com is provided by Vitamin Zach, Though he is not listed as an administrator on the forum's main page, Flaose still maintains his administrative powers and is relatively active.
[[Image:PCKF-web.png|thumb|320px|The main page of the PCKF]]
The PCKF originated as an InsideTheWeb message board, founded by Geoff Sims. Most discussion was about the original seven Keen games, and anticipation about The Universe Is Toast. Some early level editing for Keen: Vorticons was discussed there too. The hub for the message board was Cerebral Cortex 314 (CC314), also founded by Geoff Sims.

Around 2000, the forum switched to EzBoard, which was more robust than InsideTheWeb and allowed for graphic updates and layout changes. Cho'gall has been paying for the Gold Membership since then, keeping the board ad-free.

The original administrators were Cho'gall and Thea Gregory, who was the CC314 owner back then. The moderators were Flaose and Snortimer.

As Keen fan-made games became more prominent, an Unofficial Keen Games section was created. It was originally PimentoCheez's fan-game development forum, but it was later merged into the PCKF.

Shortly after the first edition of ModKeen was released in 2002, the "Other Keen Stuff" sub-forum was flooded with modding questions, and Andrew Durdin decided to create the Keen: Modding forum on his own site.

In November 2007, the forum switched from its EzBoard hosting to phpBB, using Andrew Durdin's hosting space at keenmodding.org, and site address, provided by Vitamin Zach before for redirecting to the old EzBoard-based forum.

The Public Commander Keen Forum attracts fans of the original Keen games, and provides a place for them to ask questions about secret areas, the Standard Galactic Alphabet and general Keen information. It also offers a gateway to the wealth of fan-games and mods which have accumulated over the years.

Interestingly enough, for a forum discussing a 15 year old series of games, a surprising number of newcomers regularly pass through asking for help to complete some part of the games, having only just discovered them for the first time.

This page lists all the bugs, odd behaviours, unexpected actions and mistakes (such as typographical errors) that have been discovered in Keen 6.

__TOC__

Level bug: The Bloogdome - Walk into the rock
In the top left corner of this level, it's possible to jump through the rock surrounding the dome and run around inside the grey rock surrounding the level.

Steps to reproduce:
* Go as high as you can in the level, until you can see the grey rock.
* Go across to the left, until the grey rock starts to appear at the left of the level as well.
* In the angled section of rock closest to the top of the level (as soon as it angles down towards the left) there is no blocking, so you can jump across into the rock (or pogo up from the lower ledge just below.)

<br style="clear: both;" />

Typo entering Bloogfoods, Inc.
When entering the Bloogfoods, Inc. level, the entrance text reads "hungily" instead of "hungrily".

Steps to reproduce:
* Enter the level, observe the message on-screen; it says "hungily".

<br style="clear: both;" />

Typo: Bloogbae
When entering the Bloogbase Recreational District, the level text reads "Bloogbae" instead of "Bloogbase."

Steps to reproduce:
* Enter the level, observe the message on-screen says "Bloogbae"
* Press Enter while in the level, observe the level name begins with "Bloogbase"

<br style="clear: both;" />

Impossible Bullet
This trick allows you to fly upwards, until you hit a ceiling. It can be very helpful in levels such as Bloogton Towers and getting the grappling hook.

Steps to reproduce:
* Jump in the air.
* As you start to fall, shoot downward.
* If done correctly, when you land, you should be standing a tile above the ground.
* Shoot up, and you will fly up with your bullet.
It takes some practice to get the timing right.

Also, if you are standing against a wall when you impossible bullet, shooting into the wall will also raise you a small amount. The impossible bullet bug is used extensively in a walkthrough for Keen 6 in which the player gets no points, exploits various clipping errors, etc. Commander Keendom, the website this was originally on is now gone, but there is a copy of the walkthrough here rescued from www.archive.org.

<br style="clear: both;" />

Eye am stuck
In many levels, if the Orbatrix are bounding about then unfurl next to a sloped surface, or even a wall, they will become stuck in the ground and just hover up and down. They may be freed if Keen walks close to them, causing them to furl and bounce again. It is harder to trap an Orbatrix in a wall, but it can be done. This trick is easy once mastered and a great way of detaining an indestructable enemy.

Steps to reproduce:
* Go somewhere, like near Molly, that has both Orbatrix and sloping surfaces.
* Make the Orbatrix curl and bound, you will need to do this carefully to avoid death.
* If properly positioned they will unfurl and get stuck.

<br style="clear: both;" />

A nose for trouble
If a charging Nospike rams into a wall it can get stuck in it, either walking back and forth rapidly on air, or standing 8 pixels higher than normal in the wall. It cannot charge, unless shot. When shot, it will charge, pause, then fall 8 pixels to the floor and stun as if it had fallen off a cliff.

Steps to reproduce:
* Hard mode is helpful.
* Go to the Bloogdome.
* Try and make a Nospike charge you as much as possible (God mode helps.)
* If done right, some will get stuck in walls.

<br style="clear: both;" />

Rhetorical Question
If you manage to reproduce the above error, under the right circumstances you may be able to preserve the Nospike's question-mark of surprise. It is not known specifically what causes the question-mark to remain, though it does have to be embedded in a wall tile. It is almost impossible to get this glitch to work, especially without cheating.
Giks are burrowing creatures found on Fribbulus Xax that resemble giant yellow ladybirds. They are incredibly strong, being able to support a small person on their backs without any discomfort. Being mostly scavengers, Giks supply themselves with their own food by killing prey and leaving it to decay before coming back to consume it. They kill via their four sharp and poisonous legs, which resemble nothing so much as small stubby spines. They will follow prey around until it is not watching then jump, flip over and slide past their victim, slashing them with their spines as they go. They can't be destroyed and are best avoided.

Goodbye Galaxy is the name given to the second installment of the Commander Keen series. It consists of:

* Keen 4: Secret of the Oracle
* Keen 5: The Armageddon Machine

Because of the similarities between the engines (they are almost identical), Keen 6: Aliens Ate My Babysitter is often included as part of the Goodbye Galaxy "trilogy", particularly with Goodbye Galaxy modding tools which can often edit Keen 6 as well.

In the storyline though, Aliens Ate My Babysitter sits well and truly after the Goodbye Galaxy series, although some elements of the Goodbye Galaxy story do continue on in Aliens.

The Invasion of the Vorticons series precedes Goodbye Galaxy, however Keen Dreams is often considered to fit in between these two series, as its look and feel can be seen as being something of a halfway point between them, particularly in its introduction of the isometric style of platforms. (see Invasion of the Vorticons for more on this.)
In addition to usually being easier to finish making quickly than mods featuring a "usual" number of levels, one-level mods can promote a different design philosophy - for instance, since the tiles do not have to be spread out over several levels, there is often more room for elaborate background graphics.
