This is the Map appearance of the [[Imposter Commander Keen]]. It replaces the [[Grabbiter]] in [[Dead in the Desert]], [[User:Ceilick|Ceilick's]] [[Keen 6]] Mod. For more information on it, see [[Imposter Commander Keen]], the main article.

The Imposter Commander Keen waits by [[Weird Bean-with-Bacon Megarocket|his ship]], so he may trick unwary travelers to "help" him in his "quest" to "escape Calidune".

Other than the fact that this is the only monster (even if it's unofficial) to appear in both the world map, and in a level.

The '''Weird Bean-with-Bacon Megarocket''' is the green [[Bean-with-Bacon Megarocket]] found on the planet [[Calidune]] in the fan game [[Dead in the Desert]].

It is unknown how it got to Calidune, or what it is, or even who it was made by. It is possible it was made by the [[Imposter Commander Keen]], as he seems to know it will only work with a battery. It has some [[Neural Stunner]] ammo on its left wing. It seems similar to the [[Bean-with-Bacon Megarocket|BwB]], as [[Keen]] can drive it. It seems more technologically advanced, however, as it seens not to require any of the [[Keen 1 Items#Collectibles|four basic parts]] to run.

Obviously, it is the BwB replacement in Dead in the Desert.

Hi. I'm fightatamyplace. The reason I'm called 'fightatmyplace' is because it's my secondary username, in case my other choices are done. I first used it on one of my [http://www.roblox.com/User.aspx?ID=2742621 Roblox] accounts. I've been playing Commander Keen for as long as I can remember, but I almost always use [[god mode]] and[[Keen: Galaxy Cheats| jump cheat]], although sometimes without jump cheat, to play (I'm a chicken, so sue me). I also make miniatures out of sculpting clays, such as Sculpey III and Fimo. My favourite Commander Keen enemy is probably the [[Robo Red]]. The [[Tank Robot]]s are robots found on [[Mars]]. They live up to their name, running around on track tracks and being heavily armored. They are indestructible and will fire shots at [[Keen]] whenever he is near. They were probably manufactured by the [[Garg]]s and thus show both their technical prowess and attitude, being both incredibly violent, and very simple, most of their behavior being random. They are commonly used to guard important places.

Their main weapon is an infrared laser of somewhat lower energy then the [[Raygun]] Keen finds on [[Mars]]; the shots can be stopped when Keen shoots at them, and they are gentle enough to melt the ice if Keen is frozen. However, a direct hit with nothing to absorb the heat will be lethal. As well as shooting Keen, they can also push him around, like [[Butler Robot]]s.

The [[Well of Wishes]] is a level in [[Keen 4]]. It is located on one of the three islands in [[Three-Tooth Lake]], in the [[Shadowlands]] of [[Gnosticus IV]]. Its entrance appears to be a well, and the inside of the level seems to be the watery depths within the well.

The level is interesting in many aspects. It's the only underwater level in the Keen series, and controlling the [[Wetsuit|scuba-diving]] [[Keen]] is radically different in it. The level being underwater, Keen can't jump or use his [[pogo stick]], and the [[Neural Stunner]] doesn't work, either. (Note: By pressing the jump key Keen can gain more speed, though.) Due it being the only underwater level, it features creatures not seen elsewhere in the game, such as [[Sprite]], [[Schoolfish]], and the most famous Keen creature, [[Dopefish]]. There are also [[Keen 4 Hazards|Underwater Mine]]s that explode on contact.

The level is a huge underwater maze of tunnels, with most of them leading to dead-ends, some containing [[Keen 4 Items|point items]]. Keen has to swim his way around it, and eventually get to a cave where, after a stone door frame, is the [[Council Member]]. This last cave is guarded by one or two Dopefishes, depending on the difficulty level. With two Dopefishes, passing through can be a big challenge.

Unfortunately due to disk space requirements all music was cut from Keen Dreams, but this song was later used in four [[Keen 4]] levels. One of these levels is the only place where the [[Dopefish]] is found, and for this reason the song is often associated with the Dopefish.

a space ship that want to burn down Vorticon IV. Keen lands on with the Bean-with-Beacon Megarocket on the Mothership with 8 new Tantalus Rays, ready to be disabled. Don't wait longer and try this new adventure
All the Vorticons are controlled by the mad Vorticon King being on the planet Vorticon V. That's of no concern now--you must save
the Vorticon VI by destroying those Tantalus Rays!
The Vorticons have robots, just like the Shikadi--but these shot more regular, but less shots each time

[[Bobba]] are large worm-like creatures found on [[Fribbulus Xax]], though there are rumours the the [[Bloog]]s have recently captured some to act as guards in their orbiting fortress. Being exceedingly muscular, [[Bobba]] hold their worm-like body upright even hopping along on the lower portion of it, which acts as a foot. They are indestructable and shoot huge, fast moving fireballs. Their eyes, though well adapted for low light, cannot see well during the day (they have no pupils) and thus they can only take short hops, often 'walking' back and forth across a piece of land unable to see a way around or over any obstacles they encounter.

They only appear in [[Keen 6]], Hard difficulty level, and only in a few specific levels (such as the [[Bloogbase Management District]] and the [[Bean-with-Bacon Megarocket (Keen 6 Level)|Bean-with-Bacon Megarocket]]), never more than one Bobba per level. Their rarity in comparison to [[babobbas]] implies that few bobbas survive to adulthood, although it is not known what threatens them in their youth.

Mortimer reveals he has bigger plans than just destroying the Galaxy. He reveals that the [[Mangling Machine]] was just a hoax involving an [[Android Dummy]], and also reveals that he is the [[Gannalech]].

Why Mortimer left Keen the message is unknown. Perhaps he wanted Keen to know that he is going to destroy the Universe before finally doing so, and make Keen see how intelligent his plots are. Perhaps it's another trick, or a way to get Keen go somewhere and then try to kill him there. As [[The Universe Is Toast]] was never made, Mortimer's intentions aren't completely clear to fans.

The letter also shows a rather simplistic writing style, more typical of a schoolyard bully than a genius, perhaps revealling something about Mortimer's personality. Despite his alliance with the [[Shikadi]] he seems to dislike them. The letter remains mysterious in many respects.

The intelligence and knowledge of the Android is debateable; it is definitely capable of holding an intelligent conversation and appears to know at least a limited amount about Keen and his past. The android also appears able to have (or fake) emotions, deliberately goading Keen to make him angry. There are hints in the [[Keen 3]] tileset that the android was supposed to be shocked when defeated, which is also indirect evidence of its 'humanity'.

It is unknown to what extent the android and the [[Grand Intellect]] (Mortimer's assumed name while ruling the [[Vorticons]]) are the same person. It is possible that the Grand Intellect was really the Android Dummy all along, or that the android was only in charge of the [[Mangling Machine]], or anything between the two. The [[Pyramid of the Forbidden]] is the secret level of [[Keen 4|Commander Keen 4]], accessible only through the [[Pyramid of the Moons]]. It the hardest of the [[Pyramids of Shadowlands]], and possibly the most difficult level in the game. It is located in the jungles of the [[Shadowlands]] of [[Gnosticus IV]].

The level has a drawing of the palm of a hand over its entrance, encouraging [[Keen]] to "stop", and implying the pyramid is forbidden. Interestingly enough, the hand is similar to the ones used in [[Keen 6]] to indicate optional, dangerous areas. There are also five signs in the [[SGA]] that say ''Watch Out''.

The pyramid is divided in 6 different sections. [[Keen]] must first go down through 3 sections, and then up again through 3 more sections. The bottom of the pyramid is a big [[Keen 4 Hazards|tar pit]]. The level is full of [[Poison Slug]]s, [[Lick]]s and [[Skypest]]s. There is also a lone [[Mad Mushroom]]. There are also several [[Keen 4 Hazards|knife shooters]] throughout the level.

At the end of the level, Keen finds a man who looks like a [[Council Member]], but is actually just their janitor. When Keen asks him, he says he tried to tell the [[Shikadi]] he was not a Council Member, but they didn't listen. When Keen finishes talking to the janitor, the level doesn't end, unlike other levels with real Council Members. Keen has to exit the level by taking a flying [[Foot]], similar to the one he used to get to the pyramid (or possibly the same one).

There are two [[Gem|red gems]] (and two red doors) in this level, unlike most levels which have at most one gem of each color.

The [[Dopefish]] ''(Pisces swimeatus)'' is an enemy from [[Keen 4]]. It is a big, hungry fish that eats [[Keen]] if it gets near him. The first appearance of the Dopefish in Commander Keen is in the [[Well of Wishes]], the underwater level in [[Keen 4]]. It also appears in [[Keen GBC]].

The official help text says of the Dopefish:

{{Box|The second-dumbest creature in the universe, this creature's thought patterns go "swim swim hungry, swim swim hungry." They'll eat anything alive and moving near them, though they prefer heroes.}}

This is a reference to [[Wikipedia:Douglas Adams|Douglas Adams]]' ''[[Wikipedia:Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy|Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy]]'' which describes the dumbest creature in the universe as the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal. Obviously, the 'Dope' part of the name is a reference to its low intelligence, and has nothing do do with drugs.

Probably the most well-known creature in all of the Commander Keen universe, the Dopefish has spawned a cult following and made numerous appearances in many other games. For a full list of guest appearances, visit the [http://www.dopefish.com/ Dopefish's homepage ].

As it is not possible to fire the [[Neural Stunner]] in the Well of Wishes, the Dopefish can't be stunned by Keen, and his only option is to escape from it. The in-game helptext in Keen 4 states that the Dopefish won't mess with a [[Sprite]]; however it is possible to lure a Dopefish into contact with a Sprite. Unfortunately, nothing happens: the Sprite will fire at Keen, but its shots are harmless to the Dopefish.

The Dopefish appears in [[Keen GBC]] as decoration on some tiles and as a real enemy. The tile art was directly taken over from the [[Keen 4]] sprite. The new enemy version looks a lot like the first one and can be found in [[Blooglet Lake]] on [[Fribbulus Xax]]. In contrast to Keen 4, this Dopefish is much smaller and more fragile, being easily defeatable when they are out of water. This may indicate that the Dopefish in Keen GBC are younger versions of the Dopefish in Keen 4. They spend their time jumping in and out of the water, hoping to snap up [[Keen]].
