'''Zero X''' is a Keen 4 mod by [[User:Zero X. Diamond|Zero X. Diamond]]. The project never made it far enough to receive an official name, but the development folder was given the odd name of "Glfurlto." A demo was released for [[User:Adurdin|Andrew Durdin's]] [http://keenmodding.org/viewtopic.php?t=924 Keen 4 Mini Mod contest], in which it won third place. It is now considered abandoned.

The Mod is about the adventures of Aillen O'Riordan as he struggles to rescue the beautiful Faelicia from the evil sorceror Atroxus.

[[User:Gridlock|Gridlock]] [https://pckf.com/viewtopic.php?p=43518&highlight=#43518 asserted] that this minimod was actually one of the central sources of inspiration for his [[Atroxian Realm]].

The Necromancers in "Border Village" will crash the game if you don't shoot them quickly, but they work correctly on Hard difficulty in "Slug Village". Also, Aillen has trouble jumping off left-hand slopes, and walking under low ceilings.

To the author's knowledge, this was the first Galaxy engine mod to successfully replace IMF music lumps. This project was a spiritual successor to an earlier abandoned project, "Dangerous Dave vs. The Army of Darkness," which he had intended to release as the first proof that it could be done.

Early in development, Aillen O'Riordan hadn't yet been named and was simply known as "Wyzzerd."

Early drafts of the Necromancer sprite featured a full-head skull helmet and different leg positions. The reason behind the change in direction has been lost to time.

The game's soundtrack is a medley of several old Irish folk tunes and was arranged by [[User:XkyRauh|Xky Rauh]].
