sorry I've been trying for over an hour now but I can't get keenwiki to recognise my in game png image. It keeps insisting on changing the filename and won't let me choose the filename of the image to display.

It happens because of the colon, which isn't allowed in filenames. Use the infobox template's "GameplayImage" parameter to insert any image. --Grandy02 (talk) 21:11, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
