Blooglets are not actually a different species from Bloogs, but are their young. While some have argued that Blooglets are a different species entirely, the similarities between them are too numerous to ignore. Blooglets are easily stunned and are known to steal any shiny objects left lying around, such as keygems, and will drop these when stunned.

There is however one major difference between adult and juvenile Bloogs; namely that while young bloogs are many colors, red, blue green, or yellow; adult Bloogs are uniformly green. This is taken as adaptive camoflauge; while young and defended by their parents, Blooglets have no need to blend in with their surroundings, unlike adults who often fall prey to wandering heroes.

Blooglets are described in the Keen 6 manual as follows:

Baby Bloogs come in four colors: red, yellow, green, and blue. They aren't very dangerous, and they might even prove helpful sometime....

Blooglets in Keen GBC are simply smaller versions of Bloogs and will as such still harm Keen.

Blooglets are described in the Keen GBC manual as follows:

The little Blooglets are just as hungry as their big brothers, but they're not quite as frightening, are they?
