Wormmouth can be found in Miragia, and the ground there is definitely not soft earth. Should that line be changed? -Stealthy71088 February 24 , 2007 9:29 (GMT)

I suppose it could be argued (esp. in the Miragia case) that the Wormouth doesn't actually move underground, rather it is a small bug that crawls along the surface of the ground and can rapidly expand in size. -- Malvineous 06:26, 17 February 2008 (GMT)

Well frogs on earth can inflate their mouths with air when they croak, which makes them much larger than normal for a short while, maybe the Wormouth uses air to enlarge itself instead of blood (which could make sense, as a lot of blood would have to move *very* quickly, but a gas like air is much easier to move around like that.) -- Malvineous 21:39, 6 March 2008 (GMT)

Also notice that in Miragia, at the right of the level, the Wormouth is moving on one way up ground a single tile thick, which makes it unlikely there's anything particularly large hidden away. "The Wormouth cannot be shot unless in the enlarged state." Untrue. I've always found that the head can be shot when poking out of the ground to scope it's surrounds. Shooting it involves either a) jumping over the small head and firing down or b) standing off the platform so that the neural ray is shot parallel to the tiles at a low enough to hit it.
