Flyingmouse's Level Pack is a Keen 3 levelpack that contains 21 levels. It's made to be more substantial than the original game, with a heavy emphasis on combat and variety.
The variety of levels range from keycard puzzles, to black and white levels, to speeding through with Ankhs, to simple and short levels, to very long and colossal levels. The world map is designed in a way where Keen must find and complete Intellect Towers, which block access to the final level aboard a flying fortress.
An update in 2020-03-25 (seven years after the original release) added in new sounds and music from other DOS games, altered most of the non-menu text, fixed the point values (Zitto Candy Bars now give 100 points while Big-n-Beefy Burgers give 500 points) and edited many levels to reduce the overall difficulty and fix broken level design. The update also added a new level and removed an old one.
Story
The in-game story section received some changes to reflect on the new levels and world map:
Keen blasts through a hyperspace gate and arrives on Vorticon VI, landing in Vortiville, an urban area nearby a local military outpost. Here he will face the full might of the Vorticon menace - and the mysterious power of the Grand Intellect. Massive towers loom in the horizon, each marked with the letter "M". And in the skies, a massive ship lies in wait - its structure more human than Vorticon. These are not the only dangers present on Vorticon VI, however - mind-bending key puzzles, the vast caves of the Oblivion Mine, and the horrors of rubber balls lie in wait to potentially end Keen's journey!
