Marooned on Mars Part II is a Keen 1 mod by Matze, which originally started as a levelpack, so therefore it mostly uses the original Keen 1 graphics. Some of the new graphics are taken from Keen 3; in fact, quite a few levels are based on levels from said game. Even an item from Keen 3 makes an appearance here. The levels tend to be very large.

Level 3 is notable for being reused in Patchwork Mod I, where it was modified to make use of the new graphics.
