Keen collecting some Raindrops
Raindrops are drops of water found in the planet Gnosticus IV. The water on that planet has life-giving properties, earning it the nickname Lifewater.
Collecting one hundred drops of this liquid results in an extra life. A faster (although less readily available alternative) is to collect a Lifewater Flask, which contains the equivalent of 100 drops and results in an extra life immediately.
Strangely enough, the pools of water on Gnosticus IV — such as those found underneath Lifewater Oasis, or in Three-Tooth Lake — seem to be deadly to Commander Keen. Perhaps the water is only beneficial in small quantities, or perhaps like Earth's seawater, it needs to have salt and/or some other contaminant removed before it is safe for consumption.
