Ought Keen GBC Items be added to this? -- DHeadshot 11:01, 9 December 2009 (GMT)
- The items from Keen GBC would only really fit under "Access control" and "Extra life." Maybe a separate table for Keen GBC in this article (you know, there are different score items for each world in GBC). --Grandy02 10:47, 10 December 2009 (GMT)
- I started to build a table before noticing that all the points stuff was 1/10 of the amount... -- DHeadshot 15:28, 10 December 2009 (GMT)
- I never added the Keen GBC items to the table as most fans do not consider this episode part of the 'true' Keen series. Even Tom Hall doesn't consider the GBC episode legit (as this is the only episode of Keen he was not involved with.) So you can add the GBC points if you can fit them in somehow, but I won't be doing that :-) -- Malvineous 23:52, 19 December 2009 (GMT)
- I count it. Thanks to Shareware, it's the only game I payed for! I got it about a year after it came out - It was in the pre-owned bin. The irony is, the shop it was in never sold it when it was new... -- DHeadshot
- Oh, so you've never played Keens 2, 3, 5 or 6? Because those aren't shareware, you can't legally get them unless you pay for them... ;-) Well you're welcome to maintain the GBC sections of the wiki, I've been ignoring them so they're somewhat in a state of disrepair. -- Malvineous 21:39, 20 December 2009 (GMT)
- Yes *Cough* legally... Actually, Keen 6 is true abandonware, so though it's not legal, no-one cares - it's a truly victimless crime as no-one makes any money from it anyway... -- DHeadshot 22:38, 20 December 2009 (GMT)
- As much as one would like to, there is no such thing as TRUE abandonware... the rights to any software end up somewhere; sometimes the papers may get stuck for a long time at a law office somewhere, but there is no telling they will be picked again and re-sold. Actually, I think Atari (former Infogrames, former GT Interactive, former Formgen) is now the owner of Keen 6 rights, and they could in theory resell the game. Probably they won't. And probably they don't care. And I agree that probably no-one will care if you play the game that way. But that still doesn't make it ok. However, as there is no other way to get the game now, they leave people no other option...--Sega381 02:07, 21 December 2009 (GMT)

- I think the Keen GBC items should be moved into a separate table (on the same page), because 1) the table is too wide (for at least my screen) and 2) the table doesn't look pretty because on some rows, there is much more stuff in the Keen GBC column than in other columns. (Compare the page to the last revision without the Keen GBC items; looks much nicer, but I'm of course against deleting the Keen GBC items completely.) What do you think, may I create a new table for the Keen GBC items? -- Qalle (talk) 13:02, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
- I agree. The list is only really comparable amongst the canon/PC games as they all share a similar history. Since the GBC game is so different and sits outside of the Keen universe anyway, I think a separate table would be nice. Of course then you may as well just link to the list of GBC items instead! Or at least as a compromise, the GBC items could be listed horizontally so they at least don't stuff up the row spacing too much. The GBC items are also off the side of my narrow screen too, but that doesn't worry me so much ;-) -- Malvineous (talk) 04:14, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
- I've moved the GBC point items to a separate list and kept the rest. Are you okay with it? --Grandy02 (talk) 11:42, 26 September 2015 (UTC)
- I like the way you've done it, fine with me! -- Malvineous (talk) 02:04, 27 September 2015 (UTC)

Map-affecting Items
Should Map-Affecting items like the Stupendous Sandwich and the Scuba Gear be added to this? -- DHeadshot 17:05, 16 October 2010 (GMT)
