The Atroxian Mines is a required level in the Keen 4 mod Atroxian Realm by Gridlock.
As Commander Keen explores the deepest areas of the great cavern under the mountains, he is shocked to discover a large Atroxian building and two huge drills which are boring into the surrounding rock. This ominous place is the Atroxian Mines, a large industrial mining complex which houses one of the large generators that power the electric grid guarding Kridonea City. The Atroxians will fiercely defend this important location from any intruder, Keen can expect to battle with Atroxites, Atroxians, and an explosive new threat known as the Magmine. Also very dangerous are the many drilling machines being used to mine the crystals from these caves.
Once the generator in the Atroxian Mines is destroyed, half of the Atroxian Power Grid which guards access to Kridonea City will be shut down. Keen will need to find the other generator and destroy it if he is to reach the Great Ziggurat and stop the Atroxian Invasion!
