Blorbs are large floating pseudosingle-celled amoeboid organisms found on or above the surface of Fribbulus Xax.
A Blorb in Keen 6
They are believed to be relatives of the giant purple space amoeba, though somewhat smaller in size. Lacking any sensory organs, internal structures or higher functions, Blorbs spend their time aimlessly floating around space hoping to collide with something edible. They are almost indestructible and can survive the harsh conditions of space, as well as re-entry into a planet's atmosphere.
The name "Blorb" is most likely a portmanteau of Blob and Orb.
