Engine Room A is a level in Keen 2, with no official name. Only the letters "EA" are written next to it in the Vorticon Mothership blueprints.
This level features several Vorticon Grunts and one Guard Robot. Keen's main objective in this level is to get the green keycard on the lower right part of the level, to open the door protecting the exit in the upper part of the level.
The sign on the level entrance may be identified as part of a piston engine. The inside of the level contains enough power-related stuff to support the idea that it is an engine. Besides, along with Engine Room B, it is located in the lower feet of the Vorticon Mothership, where the main thrusters are located.
