Talk:Blue Bird Egg

Hey, the egg is not immortal. If you shoot it once with your neural stunner, it will break and a blue bird will come out! I corrected this in the article page. --Shadow Master 15:46, 4 July 2007 (GMT)

Suggestion- Merge with "Blue Bird"

The egg isn't really a living creature per se, it has no abilities of its own and serves only to spawn Blue Birds. I'd like to suggest that this page be merged into the bottom of Blue Bird, similar to what has been done on some pages in wikipedia where a second infobox exists for it, with its information included in additional subsections. This way the "sub-creature" could be included with the enemy that it goes with and a page wouldn't be wasted on it. Just makes more sense... I won't proceed with moving anything without approval though if we go through with this someone'll need to delete this page. GARGapplesauce 04:08, 16 February 2012 (GMT)

I think it's separate enough that it still warrants its own page - none of the other creature pages are shared in this way and having two infoboxes would be enough for me to think about splitting it into two pages anyway. I don't think much would be gained by merging them and it would make linking to the egg more difficult. -- Malvineous 23:40, 18 February 2012 (GMT)
Well none of the other creatures share this relationship, and to link you just do page#section, not that hard to me (i.e., Music in DITD). Regardless however I'll take your word for it, and will just proceed with editing as usual... Thanks GARGapplesauce 01:04, 19 February 2012 (GMT)
Sorry, by linking I meant on category pages, e.g. the egg would no longer be listed in Category:Keen 4 creatures, which I think it belongs as I consider it a separate creature (and I think many modders would agree!) -- Malvineous 09:24, 19 February 2012 (GMT)
When being patched the Egg can be made into a different creature, which is why made seperate pages for it and the blue bird on the patching side of the wiki, I've always thought of them as seperate but related creatures, especially gameplay-wise. -Levellass 03:00, 21 February 2012 (GMT)
@Lass @Malv Ok, gotcha... I'll just use the same page format on it as all the others then. GARGapplesauce 22:43, 14 March 2012 (GMT)
