Is it possible to beat this level without using the pogo? I know every level except this one and Vorticon Commander's Castle, which contains a pogo, can be beaten without using it. It would make sense to assume that the developers wanted every level to be possible to beat even if Keen enters the level without a pogo. This level has a spot where Keen would have to jump across 4 tiles of fire with only 3 tiles of space between them and the ceiling. Is this jump possible? Madewokherd 00:27, 3 March 2008 (GMT)

I went to test this, and found that I actually could not clear that fire. I think this level may not be possible without the pogo. I feel this must have been unintentional, since all the other levels without pogo sticks of their own are possible without one. StupidBunny 22:00, 3 March 2008 (GMT)

That jump is definitely possible, even easy. :) But I'd like to know can someone jump through that gap after it, up to that gray tile... So, it's not the fires stopping the player, at least. But it might be one can't get through this level without pogo, afterall! This level is an oddball, my favourite in Keen 1 probably. --KeenRush 15:14, 3 March 2008 (GMT)

Heh, dunno if I'd call that jump 'easy' but it's definitely doable. I do agree that the level seems impossible without the pogo, though. I wasn't able to make it up onto the gray block even with the pogo. -- CK Guy 03:14, 4 March 2008 (GMT)

Perhaps I didn't try the jump enough times. :P Either way, it is clearly designed to be done with the pogo, since it's far easier to just hop onto the platform above the fire instead. How is that jump even possible? But yeah, in any case, getting to the gray block is impossible anyway. On another note, is it even possible to get those four lollipops near the beginning?
