The Teddy Bear is the most prized item in Keen 1. The ever popular Teddy Bear is a common toy on Earth[1]; but rare and valuable on Mars where Yorps and Gargs undertake dangerous missions to Earth to obtain the precious objects (this sums up a lot about Yorp and Garg thinking). They are rather expensive and highly prized, being worth 5000 points (four for an extra life). They are designed to a similar template to Vorticon VI Stuffed Toy VortiNinjas and the Vorticon Mothership Stuffed Toy Vorticon, and are used for the same ends.
This item makes a cameo appearance in another Apogee game, Secret Agent[2].
