Beens is the seventh level (in the official numbering) in Keen 3. It is an optional level, located in the New Vorticon Island, in the Suburbs area.
This level appears to be a quiet suburb of New Vorticon, where Vorticons who want to be away from the noise from the city can live. It has a couple of houses and a school, which teaches Youths to "Kill Keen" (and teaches them English in the process). It also has a small flag with the "G.I." letters on it, probably standing for Grand Intellect. The outskirts also have a strangely large concentration of stranded fish, which might mean there used to be a lake nearby. Below the surface, there is a system of tunnels, with some goods stored, protected by a VortiNinja and a couple of Vorticon Grunts. The tunnels may be used as a shelter in case of attack, or as training grounds for suburban Vorticons.
The name of this level is a play on Queens, one of New York City's five boroughs.
