The Bloogbase Recreational District is among the last levels in Keen 6, and along with the Bloogbase Management District directly precedes the final level, the Bloog Control Center.
Although no actual obvious recreation is seen taking place, despite the name of the level, there are signs of it. A restaurant called "Eat at Joes" is seen at the top of a tower in the background (given the nature of the Bloogs, food is most likely considered recreation), along with an unidentifiable red building. Also, posters depicting a singing Bloog with a one-eyed sunglass and a red wig are seen on a few walls. Other posters are also present, although the images cannot be discerned on these.
The Recreational District is the only level where Bipships are found. It is not known why they are only present here, although it may be that the Bips are responsible for protecting the Bloogs when they are there, since the Bloogs will not be there to fight. There are also a variety of other enemies, including Giks, Babobbas, and numerous Blorbs and Orbatrices. There is also a hidden door on top of one of the buildings, accessible via a row of invisible blocks, which leads to a column of 6 extra lives and a hidden exit. Once Keen goes through this door, he cannot go back, meaning that one would most likely prefer lives over points to use the door.
