Shadow Keen 2, also known as The Patchotron, is the second mod in the Shadow Keen mod trilogy by Levellord. As the previous mod of the trilogy, this one features a tileset composed of mainly ripped graphics, and, interestingly, includes portraits of Andrew Durdin, Xkylyr Rauh, Mortimer McMire and the author of the mod herself, Adriael Dean.
Legality
Shadow Keen 2 distributes the original Keen 2 binary illegally. The file is included in the mod zip file.
Technical Information
- Tileset: complete new one, about a dozen unused tiles
- Sprite animation frames: 100%, 2 unused (Youth death, dead Youth)
- Miscellaneous bitmaps: complete new ones, some are ripped from other mods
- Story text: partial continuity to Shadow Keen 1 and 3
- Levels: 16 regular levels, 30 (?) bonus levels, 4 secret levels, some unused levels
