Category:One-level Mods

One-level mods are mods which have only one level (excluding the map level, which is generally very simple featuring little other than the entrance to the "proper" level.)

In addition to usually being easier to finish than mods featuring a "usual" number of levels, one-level mods can promote a different design philosophy - for instance, since the tiles do not have to be spread out over several levels, there is often more room for elaborate background graphics. There have been a few modding contests in the community, in which the goal was to create a one-level mod before a given deadline.
